Urology Specialists of the Carolinas Urologist: James Marshall Oelsen, M.D.
James Marshall Oelsen, a general urologist, practices at the USoC Concord location. Dr. Oelsen grew up in South Texas, but eventually moved across the country to attend Davidson College and attain his undergraduate degree in chemistry. As for graduate school, he studied medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Following medical school, Dr. Oelsen matched into one of the best urology residency programs in his hometown, San Antonio, Texas. After finishing his residency, Dr. Oelsen started his journey with the Urology Specialists of the Carolinas. Healthcare is a passion shared by his entire family, as his wife is a South Carolina nurse.
As a general urology practitioner, Dr. Oelsen specializes in various disciplines, such as male sexual health, urological oncology, female incontinence, and robotic surgery. He also specializes in kidney stones and percutaneous nephrolithotomy. Dr. Oelsen enjoys the unique combination of medicine and surgery offered by the field of urology.
